Your Medical Home
Our practice, as your medical home, is a central resource for all your child’s health care needs. We are here to make you feel comfortable and encourage you to be part of all aspects of your child’s care.
We are here to provide you with information and resources that you may need. This includes information about pediatric specialists, health conditions and community resources.
Our office will be accessible to you for same-day appointments, communication about radiology or lab results and referrals to specialists. If you need any assistance with referrals or care coordination, please let us know.
You can contact us at (919) 249-4700 during office hours, Monday through Saturday in our Holly Springs location and Monday through Friday in our Apex location (office hours are posted on the homepage of our website). If you have a need after hours, please call our office where you will be directed to the provider on call. Your patient portal is also a great tool for secure communication about your child. If you have an emergency, please call 911.
As your medical home, we will care for your child when he or she is sick and provide routine well-child exams. We will help to coordinate care with specialists and other providers. We will make sure you understand if your child needs any type of testing, labs or treatments. We will provide educational materials to you to help you understand any procedures or testing.
We ask that you come to your appointment prepared to discuss any issues or concerns you may have about your child’s health. Bring with you a list of any medications your child is taking and a list of any other providers he or she has seen. If you have a survey that needs to be completed prior to a well visit, please complete it through your patient portal.
Our patient portal is a great tool to use as secure communication between any staff member and your family. The portal gives you access to your child’s shot records, lab results, appointments and much more. You can request appointments and ask questions via the portal.
